Steve from Dallas, one of the many Flow Center clients, tell you about his experience with Hypnosis.
How It Started
I have harbored some issues for what seems to be a lifetime. Recently, the light bulb came on… again. It was time for another attempt to get rid of what I came to know as old, outdated concepts and to deal with them in a lasting way. I had tried hypnosis before, but apparently I was not ready to come to terms with my issue. I wanted to, but could not connect to the source. That is important. I have come to believe that the “best solutions” present themselves when we are ready to receive them. I was ready to commit and there was The Flow Center’s website. It described my issue and offered a solution. It spoke to me. Since I had tried hypnosis before, I had no trepidation about the process. This includes the desire to expose my issues with courage, honesty and hope. Valerie presented a pleasant, nurturing atmosphere, so all I really had to deal with were my issues.
Success Ensued
Success ensued. From my point of view, Valerie simply input the idea that new concepts could be put into my subconscious. Usually, I don’t remember my dreams, but as a consequence of my first session, I did. I believe I responded in a strong and positive manner to her suggestion “that in the early morning dream state I vent out any remaining negativity”. In response to this suggestion, I did use that time to replace outdated concepts with new ones. That’s it! In conclusion, for me this process was effective because of several factors: 1.) I was committed to trying again, even something I had previously tried 2.) The Flow website gave me the words to describe my issues 3.) Most importantly, Valerie and her ability to put into words what I needed to hear. I am grateful that God allows us to struggle and gives us our own tools and people to help us along the way.
