I am asked frequently why after nearly 15 years I still blog. Frankly, from time to time I ask myself that same question.
Blogging can be a choir and if it wasn’t for the fact that I get so many emails and private messages from my followers concerning what I blog about I probably would have given it up a long time ago.
Now, after nearly 3500 blogs, it just seems like a waste to stop now. Especially when I still have so much more experience to share.
So, what makes blogging so important to people.
The answer is in the fact that the Blog is the epicenter of a person or brand’s social network. The more effective social media comes from a blog. Every influential post in the social space is backed by a blog site. And, nearly 85% of the search results on Google are of a blog.
The blog helps substantiate a person’s opinion and allows a business to expand on a particular issue they are an expert. There is no need in posting a Tweet or an update on Google+ if you don’t have a blog to back up what you are saying. No matter what your interests are the blog is the best way to establish your authority.
That is why I blog and will continue to blog as long as I have some experience to share with you.
Let me know how I can help.
