1. Google’s Content Farm
When Google is asked by a consumer to find anything, the first database it searches is the general world wide web then Google+. After that, the search Google makes is for less valuable content it is allowed to find from other social networks. Google+ has become the Content Farm it goes to harvest content to supply Google Searches.
2. Video Friendly
Now that video content has become the preferred content by consumers, Google+ has kept in step with offering a user friendly way to display quality videos. Plus, the interface YouTube has with G+ allows for quality videos to quickly be associated to the related text content that is neatly displayed on Google+.
Google+ for many has become their Blog site. Naturally, most of the more intelligent of the social influencers post their blog on Google+ and do so for good reason. Google considers the content posted on G+ comes from a much more reliable source. The versatility of Google+ is another reason why businesses need to use G+.
4. Sanity Check
Google+ has always been a safe place to post content and carry on a wholesome conversation all while interacting with potential clients. Granted, Google+ is more of a social network than a business network, however, the social media is sound. Of course, there is no where to go to avoid the trolls and thrill seekers the internet has allowed to exist. Fortunately, Google does have a staff of REAL people who do look into harassment claims any of its users may have with others getting out of line. The other social networks just turn their heads since they are only after interaction any way they can create it.
5. Private Groups
Most of the social networks have a way for businesses to get away from the mainstream yada-yada-yada. Google+ now has Groups and Collections that allows businesses to focus their content to a specificate interest and allow who they want to be part of the group. This is where the interaction becomes more a question and answer forum for the business.
6. Authority Figure
Google+ also has a huge user base of News sources as well as technical resource groups who post throughout the day to the Google+ content stream the latest news on nearly everything. This stream of content offers businesses material to share in their content stream in an effort to attract attention to their existence as an expert in a field.
