Thanks for the insights. I am a golfer who enjoys the game. I take it seriously and want to improve. I spend $ on lessons and have joined a public club near by. I recently started a blog for women golfers: golfgurls.com
Am curious about the Business Golf Country Club, and will check it out.

You've got so many good points there, Mr. Business Golf. And I can certainly relate to many of them. Regarding the cost, David & I 're-prioritized' in order to keep our country club membership. Golf is such a big part of our lives in retirement that we couldn't imagine living here and not being members of the club, with all its' related activities and social life. Re your comments on golf quality, I've been recently reminded that our Ladies Group (which includes many excellent golfers who play all over the state) is more than happy to accept less than great golfers for the pure joy of playing with friends and the shared experience. So, being a social golfer with a less than stellar game, I still have a place in the sport.
